The first Brazilian ball bearing yoyo
When this project was launched in 2001 I had no idea how iconic it would become - and what an impact the product would have on my career.
Saga was the first product I designed. I had no previous experience and it was an incredible journey from the early sketches to the final product. I learned about plastic injection molding, ball bearings, packaging and how to plan an assembly line.
The yoyo was a released in 2002 and became a huge success, reaching stores in Brazil, USA, Canada, Europe and Japan. It became an icon for Brazilian yoyo players.
Saga was sold until 2009. It is now a collectors item.
