Skypark Airport Branding

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport / Subang Airport (International) is now known as Skypark Terminal Subang.

It was the international airport for Malaysia from 1965 to 1998 when it had 3 terminals in use, but now only Terminal 3 is in use.

It is the home of FireFlyz and Berjaya Air, flying mainly domestic Malaysian routes and short routes into neighbouring Thailand / Indonesia.
Logo Variation
Speaking the concept, the idea of wire frame combining with geometrical is rather quite new in Malaysia.

Signage design
By having a brand new identity for the airport, we hope that this airport could be as famous as other world
class airport.
The reason why I chose Subang Skypark Airport is to rebrand the identity and the way finding system for the people to easily find their ways.

Providing a clean, clear, and highly visible signage and improving the interior/exterior and it environment inside
the Subang Airport for the visitors.
Wireframe colour on floor that leads to destination
I chose wireframe because of the quality of being simple. Subang Skypark is no-frills airport. Therefore I wanted to maintain the straightforward identity.
Simple and easy for old folks to find their way and not to miss their flight
Design high contrast signs to ensure good readability and legibility of the signage. Colors that work well are a
dark background with a light colored text and pictograms
Subang Skypark Sdn Bhd is set to embark on an ambitious RM420 million infrastructure development plan to
transform the former Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, now known as Subang Skypark, into a full-fledged aerospace city by 2015.

Its executive director, Tan Sri Ravindran Menon, said the company was planning to utilise between four
hectares and 4.8 hectares of land opposite Terminal 3 to build a boutique hotel, an aviation museum and a theme park as part of a retail mall.
