INTRO
A holistic identity entails the complete communication channel through which a company presents itself to the world – however, when most companies stop at pantone colors, logo design and other visual depictions, few travel down the extra mile of commitment.
ANGLESDIFFERING, however, believes in impacting the people, not the environment, by minimizing its carbon footprint and optimizing its services.
TEXTURE
A modular system based on Shiro Alga Carta, a paper made from algae, which would otherwise clog up the Venetian Lagoon. The algae, which are harvested annually, are used in partial substitution of pulp and are combined with recycled fibers provided by the Forest Stewardship Council.
EMBOSSING
The printing industry ranks fifth in volatile organic compounds emissions among major industries. To put this ranking in perspective, consider that the automobile industry ranks sixth, behind printing. The only alternative solution would be soy or agri-based ink, which unfortunately isn’t vastly available yet.
Not withholding the challenge that some detractors might deprecate it as indistinct - a simple dab with a highlighter pen proved efficient to calm the critics - ANGLESDIFFERING thusly opted for embossing instead of printing on its stationery; why should the earth pay the cost for our business cards and envelopes?
The Branding
Logo, letterhead, signage and the other identity designs stem from ANGLESDIFFERING’s structure itself; the upended ANGLES represents the company as part of the entity which can only be complete when DIFFERING, representing the team, is adjoined to it. Hence the company’s address details are capsized with ANGLES and team member’s details align with DIFFERING.
