"People don't know what they need until they see it" – Steve Jobs, Apple
Based on the research on Vitra office furniture conducted by the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt (FH Erfurt), we were asked to represent the results graphically as a poster. The poster should visualize the most important statements on the subject: "How do the expectations of employees affect the design of office furniture?".
Our main goal was to communicate the scientific results in a comprehensible and visually conveying manner. Superdot analyzed and categorized the statements from the study. In the end, each scientific fact was presented in a box and the accompanying illustrations of the related office situations were used to emphasize the statements. As a result of our analysis, we were able to reduce the content into four main categories which we then represented with four distinguishable colors.
