In this shooting, I wanted to develop a series of images that are visually connected in term of photography techniques and concepts. Therefore, I generated a photo shoot on comparing and contrasting two subjects.
My desire on this work is to reveal the beauty of the daily activities happening around the city and the riverside areas. Through presenting different subject matters in various contexts, I want to demonstrate the similarities among the dissimilarities. In order to compose this idea in an understandable way, I present two photos at once which are related to each other in term of angle and composition, but not the same subjects and backgrounds. Hence, the idea of how different activities happening in different locations can provide the viewers with the sense of resemblance can be aesthetically revealed.
