As an experiment to try something new and out of my comfort zone, I decided to go blind for 12 hours. With a blindfold on, I tried to do as much as possible without help from others. In my experience of being blind I found a lot of challenges, however I also learned that not being able to see can be a relief in one way, because a lot of problems and unwritten rules that we have created for our society becomes less important. This inspired me to make this booklet about how much blindness we have in our society and everyday life. We are unable to see and realize how much time we waste on unimportant activities, how much we judge everything based on looks, and how much pressure we create for ourselves and others. I hope the facts I have found, can inspire people to change their mindset, and acknowledge how many things we need to change.
