Non stop metro
My idea behind this design was very simple: A faster and personalized public metro transportation.
This new challenge requires to reinvent the way we travel and therefore to conceive our conception.
System :
This particular metro is made up of three wagons: passengers who do not get off are in the first and second wagons when those who get off at the next station are in the third wagon. This third wagon separates from the whole metro when approaching the station and stops. Meanwhile, the wagon which was left by the previous metro departs the platform carrying the boarded passengers and catches up with the moving metro.
Our research during the development process shows that this new operating system can reduce the time waiting up to 25 seconds and reduce energy consumption caused by constant braking and acceleration.
Suspension Design :
All the interior equipement, such as seats, handrails are all fixed on the ceiling or the walls, without any contact with the floor. This design facilitates yhe cleaning and maintenance of the interior, thereby improving the working efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.
Information door :
The doors between 2 wagons are also a display of the getting on/of informatio billboard. A specific wide door design to suit the needs of the handicapped or those of reduced mobility.
LCD window :
The location of the windows from the middle wagon is entirely covered with LCD screen, partially tactile in order to provide more information to the passengers, also a great way to reduce the operating cost through advertising.
