Enlighten and Illuminate
The objective of this project is to design a layout for an editorial magazine. Illume is a (hypothetical) magazine that publishes stories and scientific articles that relate to to world situations and economy. In order to find a consistent layout, a second cover option was created.
Typography was pushed to the edges to give that article an uncomfortable and uneasy feeling, in hopes that it would support the subject matter. Self Esteem, can be influenced not only personally but as well as by others. The article hopes to inform individuals that they can affect peoples perceptions of self. The shadow puppet motif was used as a way to show this idea; that others can influence to feel and act a certain way.
