"Read to me" is a initiative of my friends from the online magazine "Bulgarian science" /www.nauka.bg/ to help blind children in Bulgaria with their social integration and interaction with the rest of their peers. The project has the purpose to help blind children to discover more interesting information about the world around them. The way they decided to help them is to read and record several articles from the magazine that are connected with the educational program.
They asked me to design a advertising page for the magazine with the aim to attract volunteers for the project. I thought for a while and decided to use the Braille system in my design. With it I wrote out the name of the project "Read to me" in Bulgarian with the cyrillic version of the Braille alphabet. The white dots are very visible on the black backgraund, which fits the case with the darkness of the blindness. And here is the idea...
