In 2014, I embraced an exciting challenge: to reinvent the visual identity of the DECORA program on the GNT channel. As art director, designer, and animator, I took on the task of revitalizing the brand.
The goal was clear: a complete rebranding and update of the visual identity. To achieve this, I preferred to explore the identity within Cinema 4D, bringing a three-dimensional aspect not yet explored by the program, using a variety of techniques to bring dynamic and impactful visual elements to life. From the opening sequence to the transitions and on-screen graphics, every detail was meticulously crafted to incorporate the vibrant essence of the program.
One of the key features of the project was the extensive use of 3D elements, along with 2D graphic interventions and custom animated textures. This combination of techniques allowed for the creation of an engaging visual experience for viewers.
The journey wasn't without its challenges, but overcoming technical hurdles only fueled my determination to deliver the best possible result. Through dedication, study, and countless tests, I refined the project, enhancing its quality and impact.
Overall, DECORA was not just a rebranding project, but a creative endeavor that presented challenges and inspiration. It was an opportunity to make a significant contribution to a program that is so beloved by its audience.
