This is my project from Digital Image Design 2 called "Monsters and their worlds." This is my cute little creature that I call Gopple. I made him in Adobe Illustrator CC over the course of a week or two, and I mostly used the bristle brush. The tail that I put on represents that of a killer scorpion to make this harmless looking face of this guy become deadly.

 

The technology that I used is Pinterest and the internet to base my creature off of what other artists have done and drawn. If Pinterest was not around and I had to do this project I would look in childrens books and comics to find out how cartoons are drawn. Then I would be able to base my ideas for this creature off of those and make the mesage that I was aiming for in this creature. With Pinterest and seeing what other artists have made, it really helps me become a better artist and improve. Artists can bounce ideas off of each other and learn from others to help them with their art. I love Pinterest and I probably would not have been able to do this without the help of seeing what other artists have done.
