'You've got a Friend in Me' - A Pixar Tribute
I was invited to take part in Hero Complex Gallery's invitational exhibition 'Young Guns' which celebrates emerging and rising artists. We were tasked with creating 3 or more artworks encompassed in a theme of our choosing. For my trio I chose to pay tribute to the wonderous creations of Pixar.
This is a movie that seriously moves me each time I watch it. It is funny, exciting, exuberant and most of all touching. I tried to really harness the isolation of Marlin as he searches out for his son Nemo in the big blue, and the adventures he comes across.
