Process
After discussing concepts with product designers and the outdoor goods merchant, I would start by creating a rough sketch, then refining. I would then take this into Illustrator to create vector art to pass off to the vendors overseas. In the case of coir mats like this one, it was then made into a stencil, other times it would be knotted into a fabric one.
