The Kast light is reminiscent of lamps from the turn of the century but certainly from this era. A simple, utilitarian aesthetic is what gives this lighting unit its charm, no frills here. The cord is held in place against the stamp steel neck via small tabs that are welded in place. A cast iron base insures the heavy glass shade will not topple the piece over.
