Faithfully Guilty -Tangible Exploration of Guilt-

Every human being wants to be happy, is the main purpose, by which we are also doomed to suffer. This suffering is associated with guilt,according to Freud , as it is the tension between the inner world and the outer world of being. Being the inner world the natural instincts and impulses of the self and the outer world every contingency agents represented in culture, moral etc. That's when the resignation of instinctual satisfaction and pursuit of happiness dies.
Through the Collection of bodily extensions, I wanted to explore the tension presented in the sphere of infidelity, which is expose in couple dynamics of the infidel and the victim. Showing the creation and construction of the characteristic tangible imagery of Guilt on each character. Where the intention was to represent what keeps us from being happy and maybe what keeps us from being animals.

Each pieceseeks to be an outer expresion of what guilt and the tension itself would look like. It represents the inner state of mind as well of our inner animal that resides upon us to reach satisfaction.

Todo ser humano aspira a ser feliz, es el propósito principal, por el cual también estamos condenados a sufrir. Este sufrimiento se ve relacionado con el sentimiento de culpa ya que este según el planteamiento de Freud, es aquella tensión que existe entre el mundo interior y el mundo exterior del ser. Siendo el mundo interior los instintos e impulsos naturales del ser, y el mundo exterior todos los agentes de contingencia representados en la cultura, moral etc. Es ahi cuando la renuncia a la satisfacción de los instintos y como tal de esa persecusión de la felicidad muere.
La Colección de Extensiones Corporales vendrá a explorar esa tensión en el ámbito de la infidelidad, la cual expongo en la dinámica de pareja del infiel y la víctima, con la creación y construcción tangible del imaginario carácteristico de la culpa en cada personaje.En donde el fin es representar aquello que nos impide ser totalemente felices y tal ves aquello que también nos impide ser completamente animales.
Cada pieza busca representa una expresión tangible, externa de como se veria la culpa y la tensión en si. Refleja el estado interior de la mente asi como el animal interior que reside en nosotros para alcanzar la satisfacción.
