That was one of my favorite projects. I was putting together fake company and I liked bow ties so I decide to create a Bow Tie Company. I decided on 1880s vintage look for the logo and sketch the bowtie in Illustrator.
I tried to find a free image of a man wearing a bow tie while looking mysterious and elegant and I came across this perfect image.
I also looked for an image showing a couple having fun wearing bow ties and I found this image on flickr. Thanks Kloeffon for the permission to use this photo.
For this one, I thought about how to present a bowtie. I decided to have a nice cardboard bow-tie shape filled with shedded paper to hold the bowtie. I found this nice bowtie from https://www.etsy.com/shop/BullenBeisser.
Again I thought about how to have display stand or a store/kiosk to sell bow ties. I decided to have a big wall with the top in the shape of bow tie behind the counter. The employeer will stand behind the counter and the wall, selling the bow ties. The bowties are also on display behind the glass for the customers to view.
I made both the article and the Bow Tie Co one page advertisement for a fashion magazine such as Elle, Cosmopolitian, or Marie Claire.
I also made this article and the Bow Tie Co one page advertisement for a men's fashion magazine similar to GQ or Esquire.
