'You've got a Friend in me' - A Pixar Tribute

I was invited to take part in Hero Complex Gallery's invitational exhibition 'Young Guns' which celebrates emerging and rising artists. We were tasked with creating 3 or more artworks encompassed in a theme of our choosing. For my trio I chose to pay tribute to the wonderous creations of Pixar.

Toy Story and the franchise surrounding it has inspired both myself and a generation of children and parents around the world. At the time, it was a monumental achievement in not only Animation, but also narrative and themes especially with the target audience being young children. I have always loved the movie and particularly the colourful dynamic between the characters as well as the overarching theme of friendship, and the place we have in the hearts of our friends.
