Introduction
D'art Design Gruppe arranged the fair design of adidas Originals for the Bread+Butter Summer 2011 in Berlin. A literally multilayered appearance presents adidas Originals in the Denim Base Area of the fair, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2011. Consistent with the slogan of the Denim Base Area "We came here to shape the future" D'art Design created a futuristic brand space. A dynamic LED screen supports the visionary brand appearance on the entrance side of the stand. Overall 20 current adidas Originals claims like e.g. "all originals stay true" arranged in the corporate colours run over the display.
Architecture
The base colour white supports the "Shape of future" on the total area ofthe fair stand. A smooth transition between front and back wall of the stand is achieved by a floor that is dynamically curved towards the stand's limits. Three pools have been integrated into the stand floor and can be accessed by the visitors over shining white stairs. It is in these recessed circular pools where Originals presents different fashion and shoe collections. In the stand's back, the design creates a direct transition to the adidas Originals lounge area, which is located at two metres over ground level. From here the visitors have got an overview both over the stand and the fair hall.
In the front space of the stand area, the visitors can chill on seating accommodations listening to relaxing music from headphones.
Graphics
The spot as a design element establishes graphic accents: Apart from the three pools that are integrated into the stand floor and hundreds of LED spots at the stand's entrance, there are innumerous spots on the glass side walls of the fair stand. They are arranged in a dynamic design including the Trefoil logo. The Originals-blue graphic spots also label the single collections on the different presenters and highlight modules.
Technical elements support the futuristic design on the intermediate stand level: Visitors can discover the Denim collection on a conveyor handling system that is back litin blue. And by pushing a button the shoe collection "Archive" moves up from the depth of another highlight module.
