FlightRadar24 Website Redesign

I'm a frequent Flightradar24 site surfer so thought of giving Flightradar24(http://www.flightradar24.com) a new cleaner and simpler look. Not just in term of the design elements, but also grouping contents as i personally feel there're too many different sections/panels of contents and buttons currently which make the site look kinda busy and messy.

Other than making the whole site look cleaner and simpler, I also try injecting a slightly fresher color on the navigation bar, icons & buttons, instead of the dark blue that currently looks heavy and dull.
The landing page
You can switch to a light map version based on your preference via the toggle above.
A predictive search bar that match the flight numbers that you have typed. Green bullet icon indicates the aircraft(s) is flying currently.
If you have clicked on any flight, the basic flight info(flight number, airlines, route, distance) will take over the bottom bar with the existing information being minimized, so there're wont be an additional panel of information that might cause users to lost focus due to the cluttered information on the site.

Selected aircraft icon will be highlighted in different color indicator as well.
User to view the more complete radar reading(aircraft model, aircraft position, air speed, altitude and so on) via the button at the side.
The off-canvas navigation. Navigation icon changed to indicated its already expanded.
Navigation upon hover.
The second level navigation upon clicked. There's a back button for user to back to first level navi.
They hav their own mobile apps for both Android and iOS too. Perhaps I will try adapt this UI design to them when i have time.

Will be appreciate it if you have any feedback or suggestion in order to make this better. Thanks!
