"Ruota" is an anti-assault coverage for wedding rings. The idea came from the real problems affecting many cities in Mexico and the world every day, the assaults.

From personal experience I have found uncomfortable and painful (on an emotional level) be robbed of this jewel, which is also the symbol of a very important union. So the function of "the ruota" is to hide the jewel to pass unnoticed by the eyes of thieves.
