Snowboard is all about guts, anarchy and creativity when it comes to places to practice your sport. In order to attract positive attention and to engage the target audience, we created our own new media by turning the sliding joint between the subway carts into a half-pipe.We placed stickers in the shape of a snowboard on the sliding cart connection on the floor. The cart connection slides arbitrary following the terrain which makes them really hard to stand on. On the adjoining walls we placed large stickers with pictures of a half-pipe. The caption on the wall-stickers read: The city is your playground. Parklife. 13.02.2008. Grünerløkka.

We hired three semi-professional snowboarders to take a ride on it and demonstrate the Parklife slogan: The city is your playground. Leaflets with information about the Parklife
event were also handed out to the target audience and commuters.

Results: The campaign was instrumental in bringing more people, both snowboarders
and audience, to the Parklife event and it set a new all-time high record of both
participants and spectators.
