People I Met in London 2014

【Knock knock, hello everyone!!】

Antoni Burakowski, a successful London-based fashion designer. I see Antoni very often, he comes in the workplace and asks for posters or customized books, with his warm and friendly smile. His visits are more than welcome and sometimes his jokes make us roll on the ground laughing.
【A motorbike】

Pierre is a French/Belgian gentleman and book lover.

I first met him when we were introduced to each other by a mutual friend who visited London last Christmas. We secretly named him "Mr. P” which makes him sounds like a Secret Agent...007-style. We called him this because not only is he tall and wears a black leather jacket but also because he thinks he is a tough man. He has a motorbike which he rides through the Channel Tunnel back to France on vacation and travels a lot around the Middle East.

【A senior Librarian】

What a brilliant building!! You never realize how lucky he is working as a senior library assistant at King's College London.
【A master carver】

Hugh Wedderburn is a humble master woodcarver and my lovely neighbour. His studio is very mysterious to me. I remember the first time I passed his studio; I was like a curious kid tiptoeing and peeking inside. Tools were neatly arranged on the wall, sketches were scattered all over the desks and sculptures were in every corner of the room. When I met Hugh, he was busy making a bespoke chair, a chair full of stories: boats and fish around an ancient city, all of the details are elegant and vivid. "Never stop sketching and keep doing arts!” he tells me.
【Justin & Joshie】

It is rare to see Shiba Inu Breed in England, as a big city like London, you may see few running in specific parks. Fortuntely, there are also one female, Kiko, living in my neighborhood, she is much smaller and well-behaved than Joshie. Justin travels a lot, I see him once a month, thus Joshie always accompanies with me, even my work time!
