The assignment was to chose a product that we felt desperately needed surface packaging redesign. After a lot of brainstorming I decided to chose matchboxes. They are products that we come across everyday, and especially in India are quite infamous for their bizarre and irrelevant graphics. Seeing the scope in this product, I came up with a few designs for matchboxes which were playful, interactive and relevant.
