The is an illustration I was commissioned to do by John Marcarian at CST Tax. He is writing a book called "Expatland", targeting anybody who wants to go and live overseas and giving them information on how to get started in many different countries and cities. The book encorperates many topics and differences in legal systems, lifestlyes and so much more. I was commissioned to build an island with 6 recognisable cities dotted around the island, and merging vegitation and other topical points of interest.

Image wise, there must be around 100 images stitched together to make this illustration and hours of image searching to find images of cities at the right angles and birdseye.
