Digital, image, and physical space have inherent qualities that condition how we engage with them, and that architectural representation itself can be analysed tectonically, though this should not be understood to deny the importance of singluar elements taken in isolation.

 

The space of the image, much like the space of architecture itself, is fundamentally a hybrid of qualitive and quantitative elements which occupies a powerful position to affect the perception of spatial constructs through manipulation of latent spatial conditions. This project explores these boundaries.

 

 

The next studies explore the capabilities of the dolly zoom effect and how our perception and experience of space alters through the collapsing visual qualities, focusing on the phenomenal dimensions of space.
