"I.D. Please"
Vine charcoal and charcoal pencils

The concept behind this piece is about when students are coming back from class after working hard in the studio and are carrying heavy supplies such as canvases, portfolios, drawing boards, etc. But are then forced to put all their supplies down in order to show their I.D. to the Desk Assistants. I understand that they are just doing their job to keep us safe, but the idea of criminals trying to sneak into an art school by carrying art supplies just seems humorous. The drawing depicts two criminals trying to sneak past a Desk Assistant by hiding behind canvases.

In Case of Scissors: Take Stairs
Stop Motion

Music: Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

After having to destroy my piece, Jurasscissoric Park, and use it to make a new piece, I decided to make a stop motion expressing my distress and panic toward having to use destructive scissors to cut up my preceding work.
