    I designed PowerPill in response to a brief for BA (Hons) Sustainable Product Design at Falmouth University, in a live project with the charity ShelterBox. The brief was to design a product that generates electricity in order to power the aid workers' devices when in the field. PowerPill is my response. Designed to be sold as an outdoor product, of which profits go towards funding ShelterBox as well as donating PowerPill's to power the aid workers devices. PowerPill is robust, versatile and waterproof, designed to be constantly charging and to charge devices whenever is required. The loop means that it can be attached almost anywhere. It's outer shell is almost entirely photovoltaic, using a new technology called Sphelar. The product is waterproof when closed so can be used in any environment and sport, on or off shore. PowerPill is also designed with sustainability in mind, with end of life deconstruction considered, all materials can be separated and the product is almost entirely recyclable.
