I've have been following the UX course of Career Foundry from september 2014 until january 2015. I would like to show you what I did, and what I think could be done in the future to actually build this app.
PROPOSAL
I started by writing a proposal to 11 lemons to convince them to hire me as their UX designer for the web app. You can read the pdf here

USER PERSONAS
No UX portoflio is complete without showing an in depth understanding of your user. I made 3 user profiles for 11 lemons. These personas are based on real people.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
I made a visualisation of the sitemap for 11 lemons

PAPER PROTOTYPE
Testing the first sketches as a paper prototype. I used a dot grid sketch book, and real size iPhone 6 and iPad print. I cut a bunch of post-its the same width as an iphone 6 to prototype on real size.

WIREFRAMES
After testing on paper, I digitalised the sketches to wireframes. Here you can see how a user could 'flow' trough the webapp in wireframes.

USER TESTING
It is time to test the wireframes. I used UXpin to test the menu first. Then switched to Sketch 3 app to make the wireframes and upload them in Invision app to test the wireframes with users.

VISUAL DESIGN
The design could use some branding. I made a style tile, UI Kit and completed the visual design of all the pages.

A/B Testing and Analytics
You can never test to much! Effective A/B testing will help to make definitive, data driven decisions. I used verify and set up a Google analytics dashboard for 11 lemons.

WHAT IS NEXT
I made a timeline for the coming period. UX design is not done at this point, but it is the end of the UX course. The timeline shows insite of what goals need to be achieved and what needs to be done.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
The web app is a concept. Idea of the app and UX design is done by Marlon Doomen as an assignment for the UX course of Career Foundry with help & feedback of Danielle Reid. Images and recipes are from Marlon, This rawsome vegan life & One girl in the kitchen.
