For the Horde!!

This is one of my two illustrations I've made as part of the World of Warcraft Brazillian Tribute. On the images below, I show some of my process, hope you enjoy.

 

This is just one of the most amazing characters from the wow lore, he made his appearance in the books.

Concept, after some sketches i got the final idea for the principal image, without a background yet

This image was just to check the silhouette, to see if the drawing was really strong, or a little messy. And I reallly liked.
 

After that Imade some base shadow to study the volumes and the light source I want for this drawing.

Now it was time for some nice shadow and lights and some texturing job, totally in black and white.
