Chinese Basement
Chinese Basement’s sound is a mix of indie rock and industrial post punk elements with DIY aesthetics. This is their second official album, released in December 2014. The cover artwork illustrates well – known Eastern symbols, like the mask of a dragon or a warrior. The insignia we created for the band combines the letters C and B, placed as the dragon’s tongue on the album cover. Our reference for the design development was the sound of “clean noise,” a term used in song writing.
