Typography- Arabic Font

2nd Year University Typography Project:
The aim of this project was to try to create an arabic font based on the study of the English/British identity. You had the chance to either create a readable usable text font or a display font.
Final look of the grid with all its diverse and independent flowing shapes yet conservative to the rhythm and multiplicity.
A paragraph about John Lennon in English but written in arabic letters.
The letters are complex with the way they are written, so this works more as a display font.
The letter 'غ' at the end of the sentence. Example: 'الفراغ'
The letter ة combined with a word placed at the end of it. Example: المدرسة
The letter ت in the middle of the word. Example: التي
ف
!
%
Those were some of the letters, symbols, and numbers that were being implemented on the grid to show the direction I continued in.
My name in Arabic: جود
Jude in arabic means the utmost kindness and generosity.
