a temporary concert cube
100 square meters of culture: We developed a temporary concert cube for a concert series in a church.
For a concert series at the Christuskirche Bochum, PRINZTRÄGER, in collaboration with designer Franziska Clauberg, developed a temporary stage cube. Once a month, 250 square meters of transparent PVC lamellae on a structural frame transform the church’s nave to an intimate concert room. How to encounter great gestures when you are caught right in the middle of one? Instead of masking the church’s interior, this square concert space emphasises its abstract-cubist nature by contrasting ordinary materials with extraordinary sacral architecture.
