Custom Icon set for a new mobile app. My goal was to make the buttons large enough to facilitate easy touch gestures, but keep the background transparent to allow the user to see the map below. Completely trasnsparent was not feasible, though, so the buttons have a 40% white background applied. (Screen mockup)

Button icons are still legible above a busy map background.
