Dimensions of happiness

This world is so far away from simulacra we see each day on TV and in commercials...

You enter a small cottage, where people don't need a computer and all that modern equipment would be useless; it would feel as a stain on this sacred simplicity. It is striking that people living there struggle to make ends meet, but all the vivid colors create impression that the house if full of life and it owners know the dimension of happiness, which is nowadays so rare and so stranger to the world. Not discouraged by hard living conditions, they create homely atmosphere. You can notice a common tendency for all human beings: no matter where on earth, no matter material status, everyone has a need to create a place called "home" and make it pleasant and as much comfortable as possible.

All of this evokes ambivalent feelings: a bit of nostalgia and at the same time a kind of relief that I'm just a visitor.

My musical inspiration for this project was a song by Molly Nilsson, "A song they won't be playing on the radio".
