Throughout my time in college, I have moved over five times. Each time I moved, I held onto less and less objects. There were always a few objects that I could not leave behind due to their sentimental value or the memories they carry. As a designer, I feel the sole function of design is communication and story telling. This exhibition was a great opportunity for me to create a space to encourage dialog about the objects.
I divided the exhibition into three parts: Objects Say A Lot, Objects Tell Stories, and Objects Are Personal. My goal is to spark a memory or feeling about these objects presented along with the personal objects you hold onto.
