A up and coming photographer needed an identity for his photography business. He wanted to use his initials for the logo and wanted something that was quite simple in design. Invoices and business cards where a must, as they would be his most used pieces of stationary.

My inspiration for the logo was to lens of the camera looking at it head on. I like the repeated circles of different size and colour that are created in different light (lens reflection). I wanted to some how emulate this in the design of the logo. The initial ideas where too busy and needed to be simplified. After many re-workings and tweaking I found what I believe, to be a good balanced solution.

The design of the invoice and business card had to be in keeping with the logo. I kept to the colour scheme throughout and kept the designs as simple, but as effective as possble.

I experimented with different layouts for the invoice, that were slightly different to a regular invoice layout. But not so much as to confuse the end user, using a good balance of space and visual hierachy.
