El T.Watch es un diseño conceptual de un traductor de lenguaje de señas. Funciona en conjunto con un software instalado en un smartphone, tableta, pc, entre otros con el que se comunica a través de tecnología bluetooth. Este dispositivo le permitirá al usuario traducir el lenguaje de señas a voz y/o texto en tiempo real. En términos tecnológicos utiliza 6 acelerómetros (uno en cada dedo y otro para la muñeca) que miden su posición relativa entre si para determinar los distintos gestos. el 'reloj' actuará como el transmisor bluetooh y opcionalmente como un smartwatch.
The T.Watch is a conceptual design for a sign language translator. It works in conjuction with software installed in a smartphone, tablet, pc, or the likes which communicates with the translator via bluetooth. This device will allow the user to translate sing language to voice and/or text in real time. Technologically it makes use of 6 accelerometers (one in each finger and one for the wrist) which measure their positions relative to one another in order to determine the different gestures. The 'wrist watch' will host the bluetooth transmitter and can optionaly act as a smartwatch.
