Exploiting traditional techniques in modern ways, Baddeley Brothers bring unparalleled precision, colour and lustre to the printed surface - introducing a third dimension. Combined with our renowned flair for envelope-making and printers' cards, our range of specialist skills and experience is not easily matched.
Techniques such as embossing, die-stamping, copperplate, plate-sinking, thermography or letterpress can, when combined with modern materials and technology, provide just that spark of individuality. And now, increasingly, a number of innovative designers and imaginative companies are rediscovering the potential of these long-established techniques. At Baddeley Brothers we've appreciated - and realised - that potential ever since 1859.

"This was a highly complex design which required absolute precision. It would be a challenge for any printer but we have worked with Baddeley Brothers before, so we knew that they could achieve exactly what we needed," said Stranger & Stranger's Founder Kevin Shaw.

Destined for the desks of 2000 of the UK’s biggest and more innovative designers and architects, both invitations featured black die-stamping and letterpress, as well as duplexing, using Croppers Natural 270gsm stock. The Cropper logo itself, was blind embossed and the Wallpaper* asterisk was die cut to show the contrasting duplexed stock.

Loved and cherished for their rare ingredients and imaginative blends, the perfumes and candles crafted by Irish artisan perfumer Cloon Keen Atelier deliver a complete sensory experience – from their hand-placed cotton wicks to each exclusive die stamped label.
The labels are printed on an uncoated Strathmore bright white label, die-stamped and pearl white foil block de-bossed to add depth and shine to the CKA logo and border.

For fans of progressive menswear designer Sebastiaan Pieter, his clothes are a statement. So too, is his stationery. While there’s nothing conventional about Sebastiaan’s tailoring, he is known in London and New York for re-fashioning traditional materials and methods – which is something which he was keen to encapsulate in his packaging and letterhead.
Director Charles Pertwee added: “Using a tactile stock and incorporating a light stroke of embossing and foil blocking I believe we’ve achieved a distinctive, classic look that PIETER customers will admire.”
