Hydraulic Press Earrings
These organic earrings were made to create a statement. The larger one goes up the ear while the smaller one accents it. They are made from 22 gauge sterling silver sheet metal, 22 gauge copper sheet metal, and 18 gauge sterling silver wire.
Geometric
This geometric pendant was inspired by bowls stacked inside of each other. I wanted to create different levels and depths by using different thicknesses and heights of metal. It is made of 22 gauge brass sheet metal, 20 gauge brass metal, 16 gauge brass metal, 12 gauge brass wire, and 16 gauge brass wire.
This bronze casted body necklace was inspired by a jellyfish. I casted the body of the jellyfish using a technique called cuttlefish casting. The chain was made using different sized jump rings to represent bubbles. The piece was made from 20 gauge brass sheet metal, 16 gauge brass wire, and bronze casting beads.
Bezel Ring
When I made this ring, I wanted to create a statement piece that had a lot of texture and gave an old-fashioned feel.The ring is made from 20 gauge sterling silver sheet metal, 14 gauge sterling silver wire, 3.5 mm bezel wire, and a pink quartz stone.
Flame
For this ring I wanted to go for a look that was more editorial and less casual. The two bands make the ring seem larger, making it a statement piece. I was inspired by the organic shapes of a flame. This ring was made from brass sheet metal dipped in a patina and 14 gauge brass wire.
Beehive
This ring is also a statement piece. I decided to only use one band because I wanted the ring to be comfortable and give the hand a free range of motion, while still reaching across all three fingers. I was very inspired by a beehive, thus the swirled shape, and the honeycomb inside, the reason for the cutouts. This ring was made from copper sheet metal and 14 gauge copper wire.
