For 125 years, Yamaha’s growth has been based on the KANDO philosophy. The KANDO philosophy is Japanese for an inspired state of mind. It is based on four different pillars: quality, creativity, artistry, and harmony. Yamaha uses these pillars as benchmarks to accomplish sophisticated technological innovation and crafting. My goal was to humanize the KANDO philosophy by focusing on the four pillars. Behind each pillar, I show an archetypal person being inspired by each word and tellingtheir own Yamaha story.
