What is Dyslexia Awareness Week?
While most are aware of dyslexia, many believe it to be a learning disability rather than a learning difference. Our goal is to inform the CSUC community about the truths of dyslexia in hopes to remove the stigma that currently exists. Dyslexia Awareness week will involve several informational and interactive events for the general CSUC community, including opportunities to utilize the ARC center.
Hunt Statement
Our objective is to understand dyslexia and raise awareness to reduce stereotypical thinking. We also want to encourage students to acknowledge their learning difference in order to have a successful educational experience.

Dyslexia Awareness Week Promotion
We decided that the strongest form of promotion for the week long event was through social media as well as posters that were to be placed around campus. Every poster pictures a celebrity who has dyslexia, along with a quote that celebrity has said that relates to overcoming obstacles or even more specifically, Dyslexia.
