Batman miniature figure made from modelling clay, and hand-painted, created during December 2007.
Based on the Keaton figure of the 1989 Tim Burton’s Batman. Represents the bust of the hero, slightly twisted and looking upwards.
I started from a very elementary form of clay, on which I superimposed the various layers of muscle and armor.
The eyes are of plastic pellets, the belt and bat-gun are made of cardboard. The wooden base is a sofa leg.
I colored everything with acrylic dry-brush tecnique, adding highlighting to give more tridimensionality.
