In the Photography I course, it was asked for the students to make a project in which the portrait would be the theme. After several researches, the group decided to execute something inspired in the artist Rut Mackel and in one of his works.
The intention was something that would transmit funny and out of the ordinary expressions. With the help of a mirror, the idea evolved in the sense that the person would squash her face against it, causing comic and distorted expressions.
The selection was made with young people, aged between ages 18 to 22, both male and female.
Na unidade curricular de fotografia I, foi pedido aos alunos para realizar um trabalho cujo tema seria o retracto. O grupo, após várias pesquisas, decidiu realizar algo inspirado no artista Rut Mackel e num trabalho que o mesmo concretizou.
A intenção era algo que transmitisse expressões divertidas e fora do comum. Com a ajuda de um espelho, a ideia desenvolveu-se no sentido da pessoa esborrachar a cara contra este provocando expressões cómicas e destorcidas. A selecção foi realizada com pessoas de faixa etária jovem, entre 18 a 22 anos, masculinos e femininos.
