A group project done in college for 'Design for social change.'
The objective was to bring about a change in the behaviour of people towards stray dogs. The campaign aimed at telling people that taking care of a dog is not a responsibility as it does not always require adoption. Even a small good gesture is good enough.

P.A.L functions as an Independent body under Humane Animal Society (HAS), an animal welfare organization in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Each community will have their own P.A.L which will see to the welfare of the dogs of that community, hence promoting the concept of community dogs.

We used different mediums to convey our message. I made a two-way sliding puzzle. One side has a pure breed dog (Golden Retriever) and the other side has a stray dog. The main idea was to make people aware about their preference towards pure breed and thus ignoring the Indian breeds, while they are solving the puzzle. It is for asking people to not abandon them and take a step forward.

It is kept in such a way that only after the person solves the puzzle, he can see the back to get the message.
DImension: 25 inch x 32 inch with frame
                   21 inch x 28 inch picture

It can be stuck to a wall, hung or in hand, provided on both the sides there is enough space for the person to view and solve.
Have a look at how the puzzle works.
