    As part of the Pameran Poskad exhibition, these small postcard size works are exhibited alongside many other artists' works at House @ Demsey. Please visit website for more information: pameranposkad.wordpress.com/ These series of drawings were derived mainly from google maps. I have a fascination with how with the click of the finger, the internet allows me views of the world i live in. It is so accessible and easily available. Yet at the same time, the images that I picked are also some of the harshest and inaccessible places on earth. The duality of inaccessibility and accessibilty is intriguing! With that in mind, I picked interesting land formations in varied continents which shows undulations, contours, water features and other natural scapes. Using these as my point of departure, i deliberately traced these landscapes on two separate pieces of tracing paper. After which I decided to cut them into strips so that I am allowed to freely play with the sequence I want to weave them back together.
