The Client
“Getting Fat In A Healthy Way” is the first short film by director and writer Kevork Aslanyan. The film's story develops around Constantine and his father Atanas. In a dystopian post-communist world, a tragic accident has disturbed the gravity on Earth and skinny people fly into the sky, Constantine has never left the apartment he shares with his father Atanas. One day a beautiful stewardess moves into the building and changes Constantine's life forever.
The Objective
Communicate through visuals the story's central point: the desire to be free and the fear of losing loved ones.
The Solution
The movie felt very intimate to us and we wanted to keep that feeling by making the characters’ silhouettes very prominent on the poster. We wanted to focus on the idea of being trapped: either inside a physical space (as is the case for Constantine) or in a mental state (his father) and being unable to escape-hence the use of a spiral motion for the central element in the image.
