An Advanced Typography Book
Airports and Parks is a book completed for an advanced tyopgraphy class at CCA. The book contrasts the sterile, hard, hectic, cold characteristic of airports with the serene, natural, organic, relaxing characteristics of parks. This book was also an experiment in unconventional formats as well as a first foray for me in DIY perfect binding. The book folds outwards and features dual bindings. The book also featured different forms of type to convey the qualities of airports or parks as well as experimentation in using type to build out forms.
