The Book of Alt is a lushly illustrated 32-page, full-color guide to the world of alternative culture that's half philosophy, half parody. Its various insights include: the sociocultural impact of the "Skrillex Cut," tumblr as Alice's rabbit hole, the foundations of Alt-ocracy, AltScoring ("deduct a point for every time you've seen there shoes somewhere before") and how to make a felted Slavoj Zizek. It relates perfectly to the theme of Off:Course because my thesis on Alt culture is that it swerves off the course of the mainstream through thoughtful consumerist practices.
