I spent the summer of 2014 at UN Global Pulse, the United Nations' big data for development lab, as a media and communications intern. As part of my work I consulted to the various teams in the lab on creating collateral communications materials, social media presence, internal process and landscape mapping and visual design. I created a design strategy for the lab's website overhaul, provided design support for the labs in Uganda and Indonesia, and designed materials and conducted research for the UN 2014 Climate Summit's Big Data Climate Challenge.
