A majority of my motion work uses minimalist vector imagery, so I used the open-ended nature of this project to experiment. But growing up, seeing the surreal and unhinged animation of Monty Python's Flying Circus made a huge impact on me–namely, that animation could look like something other than what I saw in Disney movies or on Nickelodeon. Being assigned an open-ended music video prompt was the perfect moment to attempt an animated collage project!
